i don't think i would consider time relevent for doing something with graffiti, i mean it's been around since the 70s, (and yes they probably ran stories on it then), it seems to me that they are trying to get in on the height of popularity in pop art / non art and it's associations with graffiti and 'cool'. i find it a little bit behind the trend?

I didn't mean that Time itself was relevant. I meant the placement of their ad was, where as Hummer just seemed to pick a wall and paint it. Yeah, the stories have been done before. Who cares? Maybe it is trendy to talk about pop art, etc, but that's not the point I was making. Since they WERE talking about it in the magazine at the time they were advertising, I consider it relevant. What's relevant about Hummer spraypainting a wall? What does a spraypainted wall have to do with that vehicle?
