Nice if it's because they're being altruistic. If they enter it into any 'award' category though, there may be a rethinking of their true intentions.
But I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and say it's great for them to apply their creativity to helping people.

More companies should really follow their example. And it's not enough to just give away free raincoats or free t-shirts. TAXI made sure that what they gave away was actually useful and durable. Where I come from, politicians have a habit of giving away free t-shirts during their campaigns. But the t-shirts are hardly durable and it's more for their sake than for the people who need clothing.
